Worship is the Password of Praise

This morning I read Psalm 100 in The Passion Translation (TPT). I've always known that worship is a catalyst to the presence of God. I believe that is why so many churches do worship sets first before the message. In order to truly hear and understand the message God gives through his anointed, we have to be in a place to receive it, God's presence. Worship puts us there. Now in the deepest core of my heart I desire to be able to go into God's presence on a moments notice, just like John did when he was imprisoned on the Isle of Patmos. All he would do was kneel and immediately get caught up in God's presence and Revelation. That is how we have the book or Revelation! Anyway back to worship.

"Lift up a great shout of joy! Go ahead and do it-everyone, everywhere" David said it, he believed it and he experienced it! Do it, Lift up a great shout of joy!!
"As you serve him, be glad and worship him. Sing your way into his presence with joy!" !!! Here we have it, again David said it, he believed it and he experienced it! Sing your way into his presence, wow! What an encouragement knowing that our Praise and worship through song will usher us into His presence. I turn on music in my home each day as we do our schoolwork. My desire is for it to invite the Lord in and His presence to hang out in my home each day. (Sometimes my sweet children don't walk in His presence and fight through the day, but I cannot imagine what it would be like if God's presence wasn't a part of our everyday, this mama would be in the looney bin) There are some extra special days when the sweet children are extra argumentative (hormonal) and I will find "soakings" on YouTube. It is people who have recorded music and prayers while they themselves are soaking in the Spirit of God! What a blessing those have been on extra hard days.
"And Realize what this really means- we have the privilege of worshiping the Lord our God. For he is our creator and we belong to him. We are the people of his pleasure" It is a privilege to worship our Creator. David said it, he believed it and he experienced it! We belong to HIM!! He created us for fellowship with him, this is something I have been taught for many years. His desire was to walk in unity with us, to talk to us, to laugh with us, to cry with us. Sadly Adam and Eve didn't follow that design and went their own way. (God knows how hard parenting is, but this is for another day) He designed us to walk in His presence, to Worship him, He finds pleasure in US!!
"You can pass through his open gates with the password of praise. Come right into his presence with thanksgiving. Come bring your thank offering to him and affectionately bless his beautiful name!" PASSWORD OF PRAISE!! This does it for me, David said it, he believed it and he experienced it! Praise is the password to his presence!!! HIS PRESENCE!! Praise, in the Strongs concordance for this verse, means "praise, adoration, thanksgiving" Notice the scripture also tells us to come right into his presence with thanksgiving, bring your thank offering to Him, bless Him. We can come into his presence so easily, we just have to remove the clouds from our minds and spend the extra time doing so.
"For the Lord is always good and ready to receive you. He's so loving that it will amaze you-so kind that it will astound you! And he is famous for his faithfulness toward all. Everyone knows our God can be trusted, for he keeps his promises to every generation!" David said it, he believed it and he experienced it! David truly experienced Gods faithfulness toward him. Through adultery, the loss of his child, a kingdom that brought forth a Messiah! God blessed David. Anytime I feel like I've messed up it is so good for me to look back at David and see how much God showed his love to him! God is soooooooooo loving!! Sooooooooo faithful!! He can be trusted!

Get into his presence today, turn on Pandora, Spotify, or internet radio and spend some time singing some worship music and receive his Fullness of Joy!!! I'm heading there now before the sweet children wake up. πŸ’–πŸŽΆπŸŽΈ
