Let Us Reason Together.

“What are your multiplied sacrifices to Me?” Says the Lord. “I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams And the fat of fed cattle; And I take no pleasure in the blood of bulls, lambs or goats. “When you come to appear before Me, Who requires of you this trampling of My courts? “Bring your worthless offerings no longer, Incense is an abomination to Me. New moon and sabbath, the calling of assemblies— I cannot endure iniquity and the solemn assembly. “I hate your new moon festivals and your appointed feasts, They have become a burden to Me; I am weary of bearing them. “So when you spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide My eyes from you; Yes, even though you multiply prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are covered with blood. “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight. Cease to do evil, Learn to do good; Seek justice, Reprove the ruthless,  Defend the orphan, Plead

Worship is the Password of Praise

This morning I read Psalm 100 in The Passion Translation (TPT). I've always known that worship is a catalyst to the presence of God. I believe that is why so many churches do worship sets first before the message. In order to truly hear and understand the message God gives through his anointed, we have to be in a place to receive it, God's presence. Worship puts us there. Now in the deepest core of my heart I desire to be able to go into God's presence on a moments notice, just like John did when he was imprisoned on the Isle of Patmos. All he would do was kneel and immediately get caught up in God's presence and Revelation. That is how we have the book or Revelation! Anyway back to worship.  "Lift up a great shout of joy! Go ahead and do it-everyone, everywhere" David said it, he believed it and he experienced it! Do it, Lift up a great shout of joy!!  "As you serve him, be glad and worship him. Sing your way into his presence with joy!" !!! He

Bible Study Is Important

My friends, I want to encourage you, while reading or studying the scriptures to seek out meanings behind what is written. There are several ways to do this, probably one of the easiest is biblestudytools.com .  There are dictionaries, concordances and different translations. As well as some historical writings that help you get an idea of what was happening in and around the author during the time the words were written.  A few weeks ago I was reading in Romans 10 and came upon this verse in the Passion Translation: Romans 10:11 "For the Scriptures encourage us with these words: 'Everyone who believes in him will never be disappointed.'" In the margins Isaiah 28:16 was referenced..."Therefore thus says the Lord God, 'Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, a costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be disturbed.'"  Because there is not an Old Testament Passion Translation yet, I reference

Daughter of the KING

In my profile, I mention that I am a daughter of God, the most amazing Father a girl could have. That isn't an easy thing for me to say. I screw up on an hourly basis being a wife, mother and friend. I am lazy more than I want to be. God isn't always the first thing I think of when I wake up in the mornings or the last thing I think of at night before falling asleep. It isn't easy for me to trust him either, even though I know he has my best interest at heart. The best thing in the world is that it doesn't matter at all what I think about myself or my actions, God sees me as that 'daughter'!! He loves me, has plans for me, has blessed me with his favor, shows me mercy and grace on a daily basis, and knows that I feel the way I do. Because he knows my innermost thoughts and beliefs (whether good or harmful) about myself, he shows his love for me on a daily basis. It comes in the form of a hug around the neck, a kiss on the cheek, a look across the room (from the
